The image for this month’s desktop calendar comes from the same place referred to in the last post, the almost-900 year old Templar castle, Convento do Cristo, in Tomar, Portugal. This is a corridor from within the castle, where monks had their quarters. The late afternoon light and the fact that one of the doors was left open, gives the image a somewhat mysterious feel. I wonder who it is that is standing in the doorway.

Happy New Year! I start the year with a resolution to put more of my images onto the blog and my flickr page – we’ll see how that one goes!!
So here is the first one of the year and it’s a desktop calendar of… well, I don’t know. It’s a pod that fell off a tree…

desktop of the month – december 2010
It has been a very busy month and so not much has happened here on the adventures. So it’s straight back with another desktop with calendar for the month of December 2010. It’s a bit of a personal one this time (again!) : Mila visiting her old school in Portugal.

I know that I am late this month, but I’ve been away and busy for a while. So, better late than never, and I did not want to interrupt the sequence. This month’s calendar image was taken from a canal boat in Amsterdam.
Sizes: 1920×1280, 1920×1200, 1600×1200, 1280×854
Once again, if you want a size to fit your desktop, just let me know.
desktop of the month – july 2010
We’ve only just returned from a month long vacation (plus some work for me) so I knew that this month’s desktop calendar image was not going to be posted on time. I looked through what I had but couldn’t find anything really appropriate and didn’t want to rush anything out. And then I realised that it was going to be 4th of July this weekend. So I waited, and went down to the Hilo Bayfront with family, friends and camera on tripod, and watched the fireworks.
I thought that this image was probably most appropriate given our location. That’s a big palm tree!
As usual, if you’d like a desktop at a particular size for your desktop, then just drop me a line. Here is the usual list that you can download: 1920×1280, 1900×1200, 1600×1200, 1280×854, 1280×800
